Joe Paterson, Bryan Shaw, Micah Owings and David Hernandez combined to throw 2 2/3 shutout innings to finish up this game for the Diamondbacks. Aaron Hill (3 for 3 with 2 walks and 1 run scored), Chris Young (3 for 4 with 1 run scored, a double, homer and 1 RBI) and Ryan Roberts (2 for 4 with a double) led the way for the D-Backs with the bats.
