31-year old lefty swinging outfielder Ryan Church and 30-year old righty swinging infielder Bobby Crosby both came over in a deal with the Pirates. Church has played in 13 games for the D-Backs so far and he is 3 of 17 (.176 avg, .498 OPS) with 1 run scored and 1 RBI. Crosby has played in 8 games for the D-Backs and he is only 2 of 11 (.182 avg, .594 OPS) with 2 RBIs. Lefty starting pitcher Joe Saunders has had four pretty good starts and one awful one. He has started 5 games for the D-Backs this year and he is 1-3 with a 4.24 ERA and a 1.38 WHIP. Daniel Hudson has been outstanding for the D-Backs so far. He has started 4 games for the D-Backs and he is 3-1 with a 2.12 ERA and a 0.88 WHIP. 33-year old righty reliever D.J. Carrasco has not been very effective yet for the D-Backs. He has pitched in 8 games (0 starts) for the D-Backs this year and he is 0-0 with a 5.19 ERA and a 1.96 WHIP. 25-year old righty reliever Rafael Rodriguez has pitched in 2 games for the Diamondbacks so far and he is 0-0 with a 6.75 ERA and a 1.88 WHIP. For the future the only guys of this six pack that the D-Backs are depending on are Joe Saunders and Daniel Hudson.
