The Arizona Diamondbacks won’t be trading Max Scherzer

Every team that wants to trade with the D-Backs has been asking about 23-year old righty starter Max Scherzer but he’s not available. Scherzer has been dominant no matter where he has been pitching this season. He has pitched in 5 games (4 starts) in AAA ball this season and he is 0-0 with a 2.84 ERA and a 0.87 WHIP. He has whiffed 43 batters and allowed only 16 hits in 25.1 innings in the minors. He has almost been as effective in the majors with the Diamondbacks. He has pitched in 10 games (3 starts) for the D-Backs this season and he is 0-2 with a 2.90 ERA and a 1.26 WHIP. Scherzer will be back up with the Diamondbacks soon as he’s way too talented to keep on the farm.

I can only hope Scherzer will be up soon. He’s been on my fantasy team all year in the hopes that he can contribute this year(and more so, next year).

I’m hoping he will fill out the staff of Jonathan Sanchez, Chad Billingsley, Jair Jurrjens, Mike Pelfrey, Todd Wellemeyer, and hopefully soon CC Sabathia (or Rich Harden)

    Max Scherzer…Come on Up!

    How healthy is he??
